We’re just starting to have a heat wave here in Maine, on the east coast of the US. The memory of our cold winter still lingers in the mind, so I don’t mind these first few hot days!
This was a beautiful read. I love the idea of focusing on the moon when the heat can be so stifling (even where I live in the forest in Canada!) And I didn't know about the connection between the "dog days of summer" and Sirius ruling the skies. Thanks for sharing.

I'm in Utah and our state is burning. We currently have the biggest wildfire in the United States right now. So many people have been evacuated. We have been praying for rain.
