I love the Celtic seasonal celebrations and Imbolc is one of the best, I love that it is nearly coinciding with a full moon and all that additional full moon energy! I use this time to sweep out the cobwebs in my mind as well as my home and begin to watch for the magical unfolding of spring on my daily nature walks!

Oh yes, you're right - the full moon has been amazing the last couple of nights hasn't it. Nicely ties in with all the fresh energy of Imbolc. Sweeping out the cobwebs in your mind is a great way of putting it! 🌕

Beautiful and wonderful, I love Imbolc! My daughter was born on 31st Jan/'Imbolc eve' and it always feels special to me. I love the ritual ideas and of course the recipes, citrus and seeds sound like a delicious combination, I will of course try one or two! xx

Thanks for this lovely post! 💚I’ve been taking January very slow (for the first time in my adult life) and I’m really feeling the urge to start moving again. It’s amazing how you can really tap into the natural cycles if you slow down enough to sense them! I was hoping to make a fire but it’s hard in the city, so I’ll definitely be lighting some candles at least. I didn’t know about the seed cake, going to add that to my plans for next week! Thanks for the recipes 🙏

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It's amazing how simple and relaxing it can be to follow the seasons isn't it! I've made my life way more complicated in the past, but I'm really enjoying following the natural cycles now. Enjoy the seed cake! 😊

My Imbolc ritual is simply lighting candles all over tonight and holding some quiet space for hope and growth 💚

So glad the days are lengthening and the light is returning. 😊

Definitely will be trying a lemon and poppy seed recipe.

Beautifully written. I will be celebrating by planting even more seeds, lighting candles and maybe having a go at making a St Bridget’s Cross from some of the remnants of my elephant grass
