Wonderful! I love May more as each year passes, it feels like there is a softness to the month which the other preceding spring months don’t have. And yes to all of the Cow Parsley, I love it too! xx

Me too! I'm an Autumn soul really but am warming up more and more to Spring each year. Plus, Cow parsley is the best!

Love, love all of this! I feel warm and sunny already. I lit a candle this morning to welcome the day and received a lovely Beltane blessings message from a friend. We're a bit behind on the hawthorn and cowparsley blossoms here up north but I don't think it will be long before our hedgerows are lovely and white too.

I've been noticing the tree blossom over the last few days, everything looks so lush and green at the moment. I was reminded then of maypole dancing in primary school and how it always used to confuse me!

May is a wonderful and beautiful month! I think I might need to make myself a daisy crown. I feel like that would be a fun activity to do with my nieces!

I'm from the US and one of our May Day traditions is May Baskets. Small plates or cups of treats were left on people's porches, you ring the doorbell and run away and try not to get caught leaving your goodies! I miss getting the cups full of popcorn and M&Ms but it's not really celebrated anymore. It also felt like everyone was dropping me presents to celebrate my May birthday as a little kid, then when I participated when I was older I realized everyone got May baskets not just me for my birthday .

Oh I love this. I read about this tradition actually, and thought it sounded so nice. Perhaps it's a tradition we should try and bring back! And Happy Birthday to you too!

Beautiful and great ideas. Will head out now to find some morning dew. And perhaps make a daisy chain later. The well dressing also struck a chord - might be leaving some flower petals around our well as well. Been looking for some new nature based rituals and these are perfect.

I did find some dew; and collected a small posey of daisies, fallen cherry blossoms etc. which I left on our well. Lovely way to start the morning.
