Thank you Victoria ❤️ I’ll be greeting the dawn this week. I was wondering if you or any of the community had any seeds in mind that would be particularly good to plant in the equinox? Have a lovely weekend! 🌸

Hello!

Ooh, am interested to hear what others suggest - I've planted a lot of veggie seeds. Tomatoes, cucumber, carrots... my son even planted a few apple seeds. I've also planted some herb seeds - basil and parsley, and will be starting some sweetpeas. All are happy on a window sill in March.

I really like the idea of planting something now that relates to what you want to see grow in your life this year too. So veggies if you want to eat more healthily, herbs to add more flavour to your life, and flowers if you want to add colour and beauty!

I would also like to know this. Something good to plant in a tray with a toddler maybe?🤞🏻

All my planting is toddler friendly! Tomato seeds are great, as are carrot seeds and herbs for speedy results. My son even planted an apple seed the other day, which has amazingly already started to grow which he is thrilled with (an expecting apples from this year 😄)

I celebrate the start of each season with a vision board. Spring is my favourite as it’s also my birthday, and I love the feeling of hope as buds start to appear 🌺 I am hosting a vision board workshop on Thursday and all are welcome!

It’s taken me a while to read this, but I’m still in the middle of feeling the energy of the equinox, and your words are just the thing to guide me even deeper into this most magical season of awakening. As always, Vicky, just perfect. 🌸

Yum, you have me dreaming of spring flavors! I always associate the start of spring with making maple syrup. That time right on the precipice of freezing and the return of spring warmth is the time for it.

I set intentions at the beginning of each season. What I want that season to look and feel like, simple daily rituals, a bucket list for my family, and a few words that I want to focus on. The words I chose for Spring are anticipate, refresh, kindness, & wonder/awe. Happy Spring!!!

All of those recipes look amazing! We will definitely try to watch the sunrise and usually try to light candles for breakfast just to feel a little extra special on a school morning.

One fun tradition we’ve done the last few years is to hold an egg in our hands while making a wish for the spring season, and then rolling them down a hill, or in our case our front sidewalk 🤣🤣 my kids think it’s hilarious

Oh I love that tradition! I might borrow that one if you don’t mind! 🥚 💫

Not at all, I don’t remember where I first read it but it is an old tradition and it’s silly and it stuck

This was a delightful read 🌼 I'm planning on getting outside for a walk – I adore how much sun and blue sky can be seen at the moment! I'm hoping to do some planting in our garden as we recently bought loads of seeds. I think I'll probably also choose a lovely spring book to read 📚

Ooh yes, good idea - I love a seasonal book! 📕

I look for something green and find the nutritious stinging nettle to break out of winter and enhance the energy of spring to make a nettle soup, nettle tea and add the dried seeds to salt shaker. What better way to start spring with natures gift of free food.

Yes, nettle tea at this time of year is perfect!
