I don't know the percentage, but I've fallen down a rabbit hole with researching this and am less clear on it now than I was to start with! You potentially need to be VAT registered with each EU country that you sell to as they are all different, and need to be accounted for individually. And it's obviously in addition to regular tax responsibilities. It's seriously headache-inducing.
